WAITING DATA SIZE TO SEND PACKET (1 - 1024 byte) Enter a desired data length of serial data the RS-485 data port can receive at one time. The entered size will be the maximum size of the packet to be sent to the network. SUBNET MASK Enter the subnet mask of the encoder to connect to the network. When the SW4 switch on the front panel of the encoder is set to ON, a subnet mask assigned by DHCP will be displayed. The default setting is "255. 255. 255. 0". DEFAULT GATEWAY Enter the default gateway to connect to the network. When the SW4 switch on the front panel of the encoder is set to ON, a default gateway assigned by DHCP will be displayed. The default setting is "192. 168. 0. 1". DNS SERVER Enter the IP address of the DNS server to connect to the network. The default setting is "0. 0. 0. 0". MAC ADDRESS The MAC address of the encoder will be displayed. SPEED/DUPLEX Select a transmission speed between the encoder and a network device such as a switching hub or a router from the following. AUTO: Transmission speed will be automatically set. [. . . ] Enter a user name with access level 1 (ADMINISTRATOR) and the password registered to the encoder/decoder to be restarted.

UPDATING
Update the firmware of the encoder/decoder by executing the update file transferred to the encoder/decoder in advance. Refer to the page 62 or page 79 to transfer the file to the encoder or the decoder respectively.
