[. . . ] For details on doing this, please refer to the Parallels Helm 4. 1. 2 Microsoft IIS 5/6 Provider Guide (http://www. parallels. com/en/products/helm/docs/). After installing this, you can then install the ASP Support module. To install the ASP Support Module: 1. Open the Parallels Helm Configuration Tool on your server. Click the Installed Modules button, and you will see all of the available modules for Parallels Helm. Find the ASP Support (Microsoft IIS 5 and 6) module in the list and check the box, and then click the Install/Uninstall Modules button to install it. The ASP module is now installed on your Parallels Helm build. Read on to learn how to use it in Parallels Helm. CHAPTER 5 Configuring ASP Support Settings The ASP Support module is a module that allows you to host sites which can support ASP (Active Server Pages) through IIS (sites that can use extensions such as . asp). To configure the ASP Support settings in Parallels Helm: 1. Go to the IIS service you have set up: Home > Helm System > Servers > [Your Server] > Services > [Your IIS 5/6 Web Service] 2. Scroll down and you will the ASP Support details: ASP. DLL Path: This is the path to the ASP DLL file on the server, which IIS uses to run ASP. File Extensions: Here you can specify the extensions that will be added to a website's IIS configuration when ASP is enabled in the Scripting Support section of the Domain Menu in Parallels Helm. CHAPTER 6 Making ASP Support Available to Customers If you would like to offer ASP to your resellers and/or end-users, you will need to increase the amount of installations available in their plans and packages. In Parallels Helm, go to Home > My Plans > [plan] > Resource Limits. When you first set up ASP in a plan (the ASP Installations field under the Web section of a Plan), the amount is set to 0 by default (unlimited). You need to change the limit amount to whatever you require. Click Save to apply changes. CHAPTER 7 Enabling ASP on a New Web Site Now that you have configured ASP support in Parallels Helm, you can start enabling it on your domains. To enable ASP for a Web site: 1. Go to your domain in Parallels Helm, for example: Home > My Domains > [domain] or Home > My Customers > [Customer Name] > Domains > [domain] or a similar location if you have resellers, and customers underneath them and you will be presented with the Domain menu (this screen will differ depending on what services are installed on your domain). 2. Click the Scripting Support icon and you will be taken to the Scripting Support page. Scroll down until you get to the ASP Scripting Support options: ASP Enabled: Check the box to ASP support on the domain. Once done, it will add ASP extensions to the domain in IIS, based on the extensions you specified in the IIS Service earlier in this guide. Parent Paths Enabled: Check the box to enable Parent Paths on the domain. [. . . ] Go to Home > My Plan Templates > [Template] and scroll down to the Provisioning Methods section. Click Add and give the provisioning method a friendly name (for example, Enable ASP). Once done, select (Web Extension) Set ASP Status from the Available Methods drop down box. A new parameter will become available the ASP installed checkbox. [. . . ]
