 [. . . ]  [. . . ] The PD 4 also has a stereo/mono switch to allow a mono signal (connected tip-sleeve on the input) to be routed to both the left and right headphone ear cups. The PD 4 can also be used with mono headphones by setting the PD 4 for stereo and connecting a mono source to the tip and sleeve on the input. 

C a u t i o n : Care must always be taken when using headphones to prevent hearing damage.
