Ground (16) This three-position switch is used when you have a hum problem. Try using this switch to eliminate hum problems that are related to the AC mains or AC line grounding. Line Cord (120 V units only) (17) For your safety, we have incorporated a three-wire line (mains) cable with proper grounding facilities. It is not advisable to remove the ground pin under any circumstances. If it is necessary to use the PentaTM without proper grounding facilities, suitable grounding adapters should be used.
