The jacks for these inputs are switching jacks. This means that if you plug into the jack you will defeat any prior signal from the channel, master and effects sections of the amp. A benefit of this feature is that you can then use the internal stereo EQ and power amp with or 10 6 8 5 without using the channel and effects sections.
