Profiles
This menu allows you to access a group of predefined settings, which let you quickly adapt your phone to your environment by changing several settings at once. For example, selecting Meeting will set your ringer volume to silent, activate vibra and deactivate the key tones (the other items are set according to the settings you configured). When your meeting is over, selecting Personal will reactivate all your usual settings. When you associate a hotkey to a profile (e. g. long press key 3 activates Meeting, see page 31), also long press this key to deactivate it and go back to the Personal settings. The settings listed in the column Personal, in the following table, are default settings preset during production. As you can change them, the personal settings in your phone may differ from the table.

Received Messages
This allows you to send the current message you have entered (to learn how to enter text and numbers, see "Text or number entry" page 20). Press , to confirm.
The messages you have received and already read are labelled with . Messages received but not yet read are labelled with a sealed envelope icon. Select a message and press , to read it. When displayed, press , to access the following options: - Reply to the sender, - Forward the selected message (choose the recipient in the phonebook or enter a phone number manually), - Delete the selected message, - Store number of the sender if it is attached to the message, - Store melody if a melody was sent together with the SMS,

- Store graphic(s) if one or several graphics and/or animations were sent together with the message, - Extract a number included in the message itself, if this number is included in double quotes (several numbers can be included and extracted), - Call the sender of the message (operatordependent), - Move to Archive allows you to store read messages in the phone memory. Saved messages can then be consulted by pressing , and selecting Messages, SMS Archive, Moving a message to the archive list deletes it from the read SMS list. - Edit a message in the Read or Archive folder, modify it and resend it to someone (you can add a picture or a sound). If a picture or a sound was attached to the message you edit, you must first detach it and store it in the Picture album or in the Own melodies menu of the ringers list. Then re-attach it to your message (see page 42).

Allows you to select your default SMS centre. If not available on your SIM card, you must enter your SMS centre number.
Signature
Allows you to sign your SMS. By default, your signature is you phone Signature number, added at the end of your message (which length is consequently reduced).
