As soon as the power supply returns the display will indicate the correct time. ⷠIf power supply returns after 1 minute, the demo mode appears and you will need to re-enter all clock settings. After both the hours and minutes are set, press SET TIME or SET ALARM 1 (or 2) to confirm the setting. ⷠTime setting is also automatically confirmed 10 seconds after you set the time. ⷠIt is not possible to adjust the alarm time during an alarm call or the repeat alarm mode. 1 AL 1 - selects alarm 1 mode: OFF/ RADIO 2 AL 2 - selects alarm 2 mode: OFF/ BUZZER / COCKCROW 3 DISPLAY - shows clock and alarms (small display) times and status 4 REPEAT ALARM / BRIGHTNESS CONTROL - switches off the alarm for a 5 minute period - changes display illumination brightness - stops SLEEP function 5 ALARM RESET / RADIO OFF - stops active alarm for 24 hours - stops SLEEP / RADIO function 6 SLEEP / RADIO ON - activates the radio for sleep function, and to select the sleep time - switches the radio on 7 SET ALARM 1 : sets the alarm 1 time 8 SET ALARM 2 : sets the alarm 2 time 9 SET TIME : sets the clock time 0 HOUR : adjusts the hours for the clock and alarm times ! mINUTES - adjusts the minutes for clock and alarm times @ Socket for AC/DC 7. 5V adapter # TUNING - tunes to radio stations $ BAND - select FM-AM (MW or LW) waveband % VOLUME - adjusts the sound level ^ Pigtail - improves FM reception & RESET - press if the set / display does not react to operation of any button * Battery door - opens to store 4 x R6/UM3/AA batteries (not included) If you have inserted batteries, the battery low indicator lights up when: · You intend to use AC power, but the AC adapter connection is loose. During the battery low mode, both Radio/Sleep, backlight and sound will not function. Operation of any set alarm (Radio/Buzzer/Cockcrow) automatically changes to a slow buzzer beep frequency. SWITCHING OFF THE ALARM There are three ways of switching off the alarm. Unless you cancel the alarm completely, the 24-hour ALARM RESET will be automatically selected after 30 minutes from the time your alarm first goes off. 24 HOUR ALARM RESET If you want the alarm mode to be stopped immediately but also wish to retain the same alarm setting for the following day: · press ALARM RESET / RADIO OFF. TM You will hear a beep tone confirming 24 hour reset activation. If you do not intend to use set for a long time, remove the batteries. ⷠDo not expose the set to humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused by heating equipment or direct sunlight. ⷠTo clean your set, use a soft damp cloth or chamois leather. Do not use cleaning products, which contain benzene, thinner, etc. ENVIROMENTAL INFORMATION We have reduced the packaging to its minimum using only paper and cardboard. Your set consists of materials which can be recycled if disassembled by a specialized company.
