Replace batteries Hum when using mains adaptor ­ Adaptor used is not regulated type · Use Philips SBC6650 or other standard regulated 3V DC adaptor No sound ­ Volume is not turned up · Turn up volume ­ Headphones are not connected · Remove the batteries if they are exhausted or if they are not to be used for a long time. The set is switched off when TAPE/RADIO is in the TAPE position and no cassette player button is pressed. Open the cassette holder and insert a cassette with the open part facing the buttons and the full reel on your left.
