Filling the Milk Carafe The milk carafe may be filled before the use or, if necessary, also during use. To fill the carafe, proceed as follows: 1 Lift the top lid of the carafe: 2 Pour the milk: The level of milk poured into the carafe must be between the (MIN) level and the (MAX) level. Thereafter the container may be used to brew the desired beverages. ENGLISH 21 Inserting the Milk Carafe Insert the carafe in the machine to be able to use it. In order to insert the carafe, proceed as follows: 1 Remove the water dispenser (if supplied): - Press the dispenser on the sides to unlock it and lift it slightly; - Extract the dispenser. 2 1 2 Open the milk carafe dispenser by turning it counter-clockwise until it locks into place. 3 Bring the carafe closer by keeping it slightly tilted. The front part must be inserted into the guides present in the machine. 4 Insert the carafe all the way into the guides. 5 Insert the carafe with a combined rotation-pushing motion towards the bottom (as indicated in the figure), until locking the insert at the drip tray. Do not force the inclination of the carafe more than intended. 22 ENGLISH Removing the Milk Carafe The following operations show how to properly remove the carafe from the machine. The Green pouring may be stopped early by pressing the “ ” button. After using the milk carafe to prepare the desired milk, wash it as described in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" chapter. 26 ENGLISH Adjusting the Amount of Hot Milk in the Cup (MEMO Function) The machine allows you to adjust the amount of dispensed hot milk according to your taste and/or the size of your cups. Every time this function is selected the machine dispenses the preset amount of hot milk. This amount may be set again according to your taste. 1 Prepare the machine to dispense hot milk. 2 Place the desired cup under the dispensing spout. Green 3 Press the " " button.
