To any other name 1 2 48 Calls and messages Together with an attachment This option allows you to attach a sound, icon or animation to your message. 1 Depending on the type of file you want to attach, select Add graphic to attach a bitmap image or an animation, and/or Add sound to attach a melody. Select the sub-menu of your choice, then one of the available items in the list that appears, and press , to confirm and attach it to your message. 2 L You can send up to 2 attachements of 2 different types together with your SMS. Animations and pictures are exclusive: if you first select an animation, then a picture, only the picture will be taken into account and vice-versa. Some icons, animations and sounds are pre-defined and shipped as standard with your mobile phone. Personal pictures and sounds, e. g. , that you have received via SMS or e-mail and then stored in the relevant menus, will automatically appear in the "Own" sub-menus (Own melodies, Own animations, etc. ). An icon displayed on the screen informs you that you have received one or several messages. Press , to read it, and a second time to access the next carousel. Received Messages The messages you have received and already read are labelled with . Messages received but not yet read are labelled with . Select a message Calls and messages 49 and press - to delete it or + to read it. If a melody is attached to this message, it will be played automatically. When the message is displayed, press , to access the following options: - Reply to the sender and send him a message, - Forward the selected message (choose the recipient in the Phonebook or enter a phone number manually; you cannot modify a forwarded SMS), - Delete the selected message, - Store number of the sender if it is attached to the message, - Store melody if a melody was sent together with the SMS (see "Downloaded and own melody" page 27), - Store graphic(s) if one or several graphics and/or animations were sent together with the message, - Extract a number included in the message itself, if this number is included within double quotes (several numbers can be included and extracted), - Call the sender of the message (operator-dependent).
