Positioning the front speakers The front speakers should be placed right and left in front of the listening position like usual stereo speakers. The best height for the center speaker is the height of the listener's ears (while seated). Positioning the surround speakers The surround speakers should face each other and be in line with, or slightly behind the listener. Positioning the subwoofer A subwoofer can be used to enhance the bass performance of your system dramatically. Let's assume you have no center speaker connected, and therefore switched CENTER LS to NO. If you try to use VOL CENTER, a message will be scrolled that this is not possible (INSTALL CENTER SPEAKER). Arrows in the display show you the possible moving directions. You can exit the menu at any time by pressing SETUP MENU. You can leave any option (values remain unchanged) by pressing 1 PREV.
