Record a music CD
Once you have built up your music library you can create your own music CDs using Media Center. Insert a blank CD into your DVD writer drive and follow the steps below.
1. Go to My Music and select an artist or album you would like to add to your new CD. Select the Create CD/DVD option from the left menu.

Next you are asked what type of CD you want to create. Choose Audio CD and select OK.

Now you need to give your CD a name. Use the keypad on your remote, or your keyboard.

You can rearrange the tracks into your preferred order. Follow the instructions to finish.
4. The next step is to choose the songs you want to add. Scroll through your music and select each track using the OK button. A tick will appear in the box next to it.
When you are ready select View CD from the menu on the left.

My Videos - bring your home movies to life!
Overview
Your Philips-FreeventsTM Media Center gives you full control over your digital home movies, as well as video files from the Internet*. With My Videos you can store them all in one place and watch them whenever you like. You can also use Windows Movie Maker 2 to connect your camcorder and edit your own video files like a pro. You need to exit Media Center and return to Windows XP to use Windows Movie Maker 2.

Organising your video files
In order to make the most of your viewing experience you should spend a few minutes organising your video files. There are 3 places where videos will be stored:
· Your My Videos folder · The Shared Videos folder · Other drives or devices such as DVD ROM or Memory Card
Organising your My Videos folder
1. Click Start > My Documents > My Videos. You now need to create a folder for your summer holiday videos (as an example). Click Make a new folder under the File and Folder Tasks. [. . . ] Install the software supplied with your card following the supplied instructions. If Windows is unable to detect the new card try removing and reinserting it. (Turn off and disconnect the PC from the mains supply first).
