Steam boost function You can use the steam boost function to remove stubborn creases. Note: Some water droplets may come out of the soleplate when you use the steam boost function for the first time. This stops after you have used the steam boost function for some time.   Vertical steam ironing Hot steam is emitted from the iron. Never attempt to remove creases from a garment that is worn. Do not apply steam near your or someone else’s hand. 1 Hang the garment on a clothes hanger and pull the garment tight with one hand. 2 Hold the iron in vertical position with the other hand and press the steam trigger to steam the garment. 3 Touch the garment lightly with the soleplate of the iron to remove creases. 4 Use the steam boost button together with the steam trigger to successfully remove stubborn creases. ECO mode (specific types only) During ironing you can use the ECO mode to save energy, yet achieving sufficient steamflow to iron all your garments. Note: For the best results, we recommend you to use the ‘Optimal Temp’ setting. English 1 Press the on/off button for 2 seconds for the light to turn green. 11 2 To switch back to ‘Optimal Temp’ setting switch off and turn on the steam generator again. AUTO OFF/ECO mode To save energy, the steam generator switches off automatically when it has not been used for 10 minutes and the auto-off light in the on/off button starts to flash. To activate the steam generator again, press any button on the steam generator. The steam generator starts to heat up again.
