Be sure to reset the timer to the remaining cooking time. 8 When you hear the timer bell, the set cooking time has elapsed. You can also switch off the appliance manually. To do this, turn the power-on knob to 0 (counterclockwise); this requires some more force than turning clockwise. Excess oil from the ingredients is collected on the bottom of the pan.
