It is possible to clean the shaving unit by means of a degreasing liquid (alcohol for example). Lubricate the shaving heads and the trimmer with a drop of sewing machine oil. Lubricate the teeth of the trimmer every six months. Remove the shaving unit from the shaver and clean the inside. B Disassemble the shaving unit in order to clean the shaving heads.  turn the wheel counter clockwise and remove the retaining frame. Slide one shaving head (guard and cutter) out of the frame. Keep your finger under the shaving head to prevent the cutter from falling out of the guard. Clean each shaving head (cutter and guard) separately. This is essential since the cutter has been ground with the guard.  [. . . ] If it is not empty,  run the shaver until the motor stops. The shaver must never be connected to the mains after the battery has been removed.  [. . . ]
