Before you start clipping, it is important to familiarise yourself with the Philishave hair clipper by reading the directions for use. To get the best results, stick to the following procedure during clipping. Before you start clipping we recommend that you do the following. 1 2 First, find a comfortable place in front of a mirror where the person whose hair you are going to cut can sit down. Make sure that the person's head is at the same level as your chest so that all parts of the head are clearly visible and within easy reach. comb the hair in the direction of growth. Tip: to get the best results, only use the hair clipper on dry hair. Always start clipping the hair at the nape at the longest setting to establish whether you have set the comb attachment to the correct length setting. When you have used the hair clipper before, start clipping at the longest setting you have previously selected to create the same hairstyle. Use this length setting to clip the whole head. Then use a shorter length setting to clip the areas near the temple and at the nape. Finally, contour the hairline round the ears and at the nape. Tip: regularly remove cut hair from the comb while clipping.
