[. . . ] Press the mode key for the device (TV or SAT) you want to operate. ­ The green indicator LED lights up to confirm transmission Press a few keys to check correct response. If response is not correct go to the next paragraph Your equipment is of another brand or your equipment is a Philips brand, but not all keys respond correctly: 3 Press the mode key and select the device (TV or SAT) you 4 Press and hold keys mute and power simultaneously - for About three seconds- until the green LED lights up. [. . . ] When the right code is found, the equipment switches off. If you accidentally press the power key again, after the equipment switched off, you miss the correct code!If you accidentally skipped the code follow the next procedure starting at step 5. If you did not skip the code go to step 8. 7 Press the power key repeatedly until the equipment 8 Press the mute key to lock the correct code in the SBC Press a few keys to check correct response. If response is not correct, repeat procedure beginning at step 1. - The search time averages about 90 seconds. (Maximum search time is 5 minutes for TV and 4 minutes for SAT). - If the LED blinks twice, after you pressed the power key (step 3), this means you have tried all codes. If non of the codes worked, try the Autosearch procedure again, starting at step 1. Punch-through sound enables you to control the audio level of your TV, regardless of what device mode the remote control is in. Even when your TV can be activated by using a digit key only (e. Digit number 1) instead of using the power key, you need to install the "Power/Digit Toggle" function. After you installed this function, the power key will send out the "power on/off" code, the first time you press the "power" key and the "digit 1" code when you press the "power" key for the second time. In this way it is possible to activate your TV even when it responds to digit codes only. To install this "Power/Digit Toggle" function, follow the following procedure: 1 Look up the "Power/Digit toggle" code in the code list (centre of this manual). 2 Make sure the remote control is in the TV mode. 3 Press and hold power and mute keys simultaneously ­ for about three seconds ­ until the green LED lights up.
