Using the appliance Shave the area you intend to treat before you use the appliance (see chapter `Preparing for use'). After each flash it takes 3 to 5 seconds until the appliance is ready to flash again. Never flash the same area twice without lifting the appliance off the skin. This prevents excessive heating and possible burning of the skin. 9 To avoid untreated areas, always make sure there is some overlap with the previously treated area when you place the appliance on the skin.
