Then press and hold the on/off button to switch on the parent unit and to establish connection with the baby unit. •• Perhaps the baby unit is not connected to the mains and the non-rechargeable batteries in the baby unit are empty or there are no nonrechargeable batteries in the baby unit at all. Connect the baby unit to the mains or put new non-rechargeable batteries in the baby unit. Then set the on/off switch of the baby unit to ON position to establish connection with the parent unit. Why doesn’t the parent unit charge when I plug it in?•• The rechargeable battery may have reached the end of its life. •• Perhaps the adapter is not plugged in properly.
