Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] the hygrometer/thermometer supplied enables you to check humidity and temperature at regular times. The amount of water vapour in the air is usually less than is required to saturate the air. relative humidity is the amount of water vapour in the air compared to the amount of water vapour the air can hold at the current temperature. Working principle of the humidifier The humidifier uses an ultrasonic, high-frequency oscillator to break up the water into tiny particles. [. . . ] take the appliance to an authorised Philips service centre. - Switch off the humidifier and unplug it before you move or clean it. - Do not switch on the humidifier when there is no water in the water tank. - Do not use any metal or hard objects to clean the oscillator. - Do not direct the mist output at furniture or electrical appliances. - Keep the humidifier at normal room temperature and do not use it at very low temperatures (below 0°C). - Make sure the humidifier and the mains cord are always out of reach of the baby (at least one metre away). - Do not use the humidifier in damp places or close to water. - Do not use the humidifier in places where the humidity level exceeds 50%. - Do not expose the humidifier to extreme heat or cold or to direct sunlight. - Never tilt, move or attempt to empty the humidifier while it is operating. Never cover the humidifier with a towel or blanket. If handled properly and according to the instructions in this user manual, the appliance is safe to use based on scientific evidence available today. Make sure the water basin is clean and free of foreign objects. The recommended room temperature for babies is between 16 and 20ºC with a relative humidity between 40 and 60%. We advise you to use boiled or distilled water. You can rotate the cover to place the mist outlet in the required position. In both cases, the humidifier is still on and the fan continues to operate. Make sure that the water temperature does not exceed 40ºC. Clean the tank cover, the water tank, the oscillator and the water basin every week. Fill the water tank with fresh water every time you use the humidifier. Clean all parts of the humidifier, empty the water tank and the water basin and dry all parts with a soft, dry cloth when you are not going to use your humidifier for a long time. [. . . ] Clean the water tank and fill it with fresh water. Make sure there is enough water tank in the water tank. The power-on light is on but the humidifier does not work. The humidifier does not produce enough mist. [. . . ]
