For this see the user manual that came with the device.  3 Set the output voltage selection switch of the adapter (fig 1 ,  2) to the corresponding output voltage (V DC). 4 Make sure the device does not consume more current (mA) than the maximum output current (mA) of the adapter. 5 Check what plug is required for your device.  select the plug with the corresponding diameter (fig. 2) from the set of low voltage plugs supplied (fig 1,  5).  + 6 Check the required polarity for the device. The polarity diagram (+<- or +>-) can be found near the power supply jack of the device. Otherwise,  check the user manual that came with the device. Select `Center positive' (default setting) when the - pole is on the outside (>-) fig. Select `Center negative' when the + pole is on the outside (+<) - fig.
