Making an entry in the private Names list

s Dial the phone number. s Press Store s Enter a name with the keypad (see Entering a name in page 14). s Press to set the position of the entry. This position is displayed in the index. When the SIM card memory is full, you must delete an entry before you can add another !(see Deleting from the Names list in page 18).

Your phone has a set of functions arranged in menus and submenus. The menu system makes it easy for you to access the phone functions.
How to navigate

s Press Menu s Press to display one of the 7 menus. s Press to scroll through the different submenus. s Press Exit or to return to the previous display. s Press and hold or Exit to leave the menu system and return to standby mode.

Use the Settings menu to personalise your phone. Languages (11) Set the language of your phone. Backlight (12) Switch on/off the backlight function. If selected on, the keypad and display will light up for 15 seconds each time you press a key. Ringer types (13) Set your preferred melody (8 choices).
