[. . . ] Select "HDMI" if you want to use control function with HDMI features. 43 Settings Playback Setting Parental Control This lets you set the Parental Control depending on the disc content. The available Parental Control Levels are shown below. The 4-digit PIN code number needs to be entered before the Parental Control Levels and the Country Code are set. The Parental Control Levels and the Country Code cannot be set if a PIN code has not been created or the PIN code is not entered. DVD-Video setting items Setting item 1 2-3 PIN code Setting This sets the PIN code for setting or changing the Parental Control Level. No NOTE · When you forget the PIN code, you can reset the current PIN code using "System Reset" under "Settings". (See page 45. ) · You can also set the new PIN code if desired. Description of setting Discs for children can be played. Adult and general audience discs (including R-rated discs) cannot be played. General audience discs (excluding R-rated discs) and discs for children can be played. Adult and restricted viewing (R-rated) discs cannot be played. General audience discs (including R-rated discs) and discs for children can be played. All discs can be played without restriction. Parental control is turned off. BD Internet Access This allows you to set access restriction to BD-LIVE contents. Setting item Permit Limit Prohibit Description of setting Allow all BD-LIVE discs. Allow only discs with owner certification.
