[. . . ] Instructions 1) Identify the Valve, Shrader or Presta A. - All cars, motor cycles, wheel chairs and most mountain bikes should have Shrader valves. - All the racing/road and some mountain bikes have Presta valves. For Presta valves, loosen up top locking tip to inflate or measure. [. . . ] There will be one or two beeps to confirm successful measurement. Remove from tire valve to read pressure. Before measuring again, press the left button for two seconds to reset. 6) LCD Panel Backlight and LED Flashlight A. Push left button once to activate LCD panel backlight. Push left button again to turn on LED flashlight. Push left button once again to turn off LCD back light and LED flashlight. 7) Bleeder Mode (deflating tire pressure). If the tire is over-inflated, press down the bleeder valve to deflate and the air in the tire will be leak out slowly. You can do this in either "measuring mode" or "bleeder mode". However, it is better to do this in "bleeder mode" so you can keep track of the tire pressure as you release the air from the tire. Each pair of beeps represent a drop in pressure of about 0. 5 PSI. Refer to step 3 and enter "Bleeder mode". Firmly push the valve head onto the tire valve and it will show the pressure in the tire. Press bleeder valve and count the number of beeps for desired pressure to drop. For example, it takes 6 pairs of beep to deflate tire pressure from 35 PSI to 32 PSI. It is advised to remeasure the tire after using bleeder mode. Enter "measuring mode" (step 5) and remeasure the adjusted pressure. If necessary, repeat the above processes for further adjustments. The tire gauge will shut off automatically in 60 seconds if no buttons are pressed. [. . . ] Code "1111" will show to confirm the reset. Should any unpredictable conditions happen, you may use this function to reset everything. - When measuring a Presta valve, loosen the locking tip at the top of valve stem and re-tighten it after measuring.
