Strobe brightness can be set for all lighting conditions. And the strobe boost lets you enhance one picture without changing the exposure on the others. This is particularly useful when photographing subjects with dark complexions. Finally, an infinitely adjustable aperture switch allows operation with all types of recommended Polaroid ID films in all lighting conditions. The ID-104 Econo's memory retains all selected settings when you shut it off, avoiding film waste. It also shuts off automatically after ten minutes, a reminder you'll appreciate during battery operation. And it flashes a low battery icon, sounding a beep, if the system's voltage is too low.
