The crossed-out wastebasket symbol on the appliance means that at the end of its useful lifespan, the product must be disposed of separately from ordinary household wastes. ENGLISH STIRA e ASPIRA PRO PRECAUTIONS In order to prevent the springs from causing the legs to open accidentally, the following precautions must be taken: a)hook on the safety spring (14) whenever the board is lifted from the floor in order to move it or put it away; b)activate the automatic closing hook lever (15) only if the board is resting horizontally on the ground; c) during closing, always support the board until it reaches the floor. Make sure that the surface for the flat and the support are permeable to steam. Unpermeable surfaces may be damaged by heat or dampness. F E AT U R E S STIRA E ASPIRA PRO is an ironing board with an aspirating and heated surface for domestic use, but with a professional finish. Its fully stove enamelled metal structure makes it particularly robust, perfectly stable, and very long-lasting. The ample heated surface is covered with flannel and a pure cotton cover which can be washed in a washing machine. The table beneath is made of aluminium, in order to obtain the best temperature uniformity at all points and the fastest heat lag speed. A thermostat enables the temperature to be varied, in order to maintain the value set at a constant level. The temperature must be regulated in accordance with the level of humidity produced by the iron: the more steam is used, the higher the temperature of the table must be in order to allow the fabrics to dry perfectly. A S P I R AT I O N On the iron-rest mat there is a microswitch which activates the aspirator when lifting the iron. The item to be ironed is held on the board, removing creases and drying the residual humidity. The aspirator can also work continuously, selecting the switch (6) on position (II).
