Your VAPORELLA AL P already contains some water, so we recommend that you do not add any further water until all the steam in used up. [. . . ] When dry ironing, set the knob (10) to the temperature required for the fabric, which is shown on the iron (fig. 5) Wait for the Steam Pressure warning light (3) to go out, then press the button (1) on the iron to control the emergence of steam from the sole plate (Fig. Continue ironing as normal even if the warning lamp comes on and goes out, this indicates the iron is working correctly. When the iron is no longer delivering steam, switch off the boiler switch (11), open the patented safety cap (5), wait 2-3 minutes for the boiler to cool down, and then refill it. â· During initial operation of the iron, a few drops of water mixed with steam may come out of the soleplate since the temperature has not yet perfectly stabilized. It is advisable not to direct the first jet onto the fabric to be ironed. â· Make sure that the patented safety cap (5) is screwed down correctly, otherwise steam leaks could occur. Never leave the device unattended when it is plugged in. â· Always unplug before filling. â· The device is fitted with a safety temperature limiter, which should only be replaced by an authorized engineer. [. . . ] ENGLISH HOW TO ACHIEVE PERFECT IRONING To achieve perfect ironing using conventional irons, you have to iron the fabric several times with the hot iron to dry all residual moisture. Perfect ironing is dependent on these two characteristics: the suction which locks the garment on the board, so preventing the formation of annoying wrinkles which are so difficult to eliminate on conventional ironing boards, and the heated board which dries the fabrics and makes ironing easier, faster and less laborious.
