This is an important and indispensable safety device, and it is necessary to follow certain procedures when re-filling the tank. When you have used up all the water in the tank, do as follows: 1d. Switch off the heater on/off switch (2). Press the steam request button on the iron (3) so as to fully exhaust the steam supply from the tank. Disconnect the power supply cable from the mains.
