Dear Customer, Congratulations and thank you for purchasing this POLTI product, contributing to the conservation of our most precious natural resource: the Environment. VAPORETTO solves all cleaning and hygiene problems without the use of detergents - all that's needed is just normal tap water which our system transforms into steam at a constant powerful pressure, allowing you to clean more thoroughly and in an ecological way. [. . . ] Connect the power supply cable (F) into an earthed power supply of the correct voltage. · WARNING: Do NOT under any circumstances put or leave the filler bottle in the water filling aperture of the appliance when the appliance is connected to the mains electricity supply. Move the locking button (11) on the accessory to the "open" position. Attach the required tool to the hand gun or to the extension tube. Move the locking button (11) back to the position `closed'. Check that the connector button has engaged and the accessory is fully connected. USE OF THE ACCESSORIES HOLDER The accessories storage allows you to fasten the tube with the brush assembled onto the appliance body. Slide the guide on the extension tube in the position on the base of the appliance (fig. PAT E N T E D S A F E T Y C A P / '' WAT E R O U T '' The appliance is equipped with a safety cap, which prevents opening of the generator as long as there is any pressure remaining inside. This is an important and indispensable safety device, and it is necessary to follow certain procedures when re-filling the tank. According to model, `water out' is indicated by a warning light (J), or by an audible alarm signal from the machine, or on more basic models by the exhaustion of the steam output. Water out is notified by the indicator light (J) and by an acoustic warning inside the appliance. Whenever you have used up all the water in the tank, follow the following procedures: 1c. Switch off the machine at the generator on/off switch (B) 2c. Press the steam request lever (3) on the steam gun (2) or, if using the iron, the steam request button (R) on the iron (Q) so as to fully exhaust the steam supply from the tank. Switch OFF the accessory on/off switch (C) . Disconnect the power supply cable (F) from the mains. Unscrew anti-clockwise the patented safety cap (A) 6c. Wait for a few minutes to allow the generator tank to cool down. When cool, proceed to carefully refill the tank as described in paragraph 1 of the section "Preparation for Use". If refilling the generator when not completely cooled, we recommend that you carefully pour only very small quantities of water at each pouring into the tank, so as to avoid ENGLISH 46 VAPORETTO MULTI SYSTEM spitting from the tank and cover exposed skin and face whilst filling. USE OF THE PROFESSIONAL IRON (optional accessory) Vaporetto can quickly become an extremely efficient ironing system, allowing you to iron more quickly and with less effort required. [. . . ] SMALL BRUSH (12) The small brush is used whenever the big brush is too big or not practical to be used. The small brush can be connected directly to the steam gun or to the extension tubes. The small brush can be used on: · furnishing fabrics (after testing on small parts) · velvets and leathers (from a distance) · car linings, car windows · small window surfaces · tile and other small surfaces To clean wood ( doorposts , floors etc) do not apply the steam directly but cover the brush (big or small) with a doubled cotton cloth. For 49 furniture cleaning, direct the steam jet onto a dry cotton cloth, and then start the cleaning. [. . . ]
