VAPORETTO solves all cleaning and hygiene problems without the use of detergents - all that's needed is just normal tap water which our system transforms into steam at a constant powerful pressure, allowing you to clean more thoroughly and in an ecological way. [. . . ] WARNING: Do NOT under any circumstances put or leave the filler funnel or filler bottle in the water filling aperture of the appliance when the appliance is connected to the mains electricity supply. Press down the generator on/off switch (B) and the accessories on/off switch (C) which will light up. Open the cover of the central connector block (D) and insert the central connector (4) pressing the connector button (5) and taking care that the locking tab (6) is correctly positioned in the lock-in aperture (E) on the block (Fig. When the generator on/off switch (B) goes out, the steam cleaner is ready for use 4a. Wait for a few minutes to allow the generator tank to cool down. When cool proceed to carefully refill the tank as described in paragraph 1 of the section "Preparation for Use". If refilling the generator when not completely cooled, we recommend that you carefully pour only very small quantities of water at each pouring into the tank, so as to avoid spitting from the tank and cover exposed skin and face whilst filling. Check the manufacturer's label on the garment, and interpret the symbol on the label as follows: Steam ironing allowed--set the dial to its MAXIMUM travel at the end of the 3 dots symbol on your Polti iron Steam ironing allowed--set the dial to its MAXIMUM travel at the end of the THREE (nb THREE, not two) dots symbol on your Polti iron DRY IRON only, with iron dial set at one dot. NEVER CALL FOR STEAM BY PRESSING STEAM REQUEST BUTTON when DRY ironing. See special instructions for DRY ironing in the instruction book. Neither steam nor dry ironing allowed. STEAM IRONING 2d. SMALL BRUSH (12) The small brush is used whenever the big brush is too big or not practical to be used. The small brush can be connected directly to the steam gun or to the extension tubes. The small brush can be used on: · furnishing fabrics (after testing on small parts) · velvets and leather (not too close) · car linings, car windows · small window surfaces · tile and other small surfaces To clean wood ( doorposts , floors etc) do not apply the steam directly but cover the brush (big or small) with a doubled cotton cloth.
