Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Dear Customer, We wish to thank you for placing your trust in us and choosing a Polti product. [. . . ] You will be able to select the speed required for the type of surface to be treated by keeping the suction button (A4) pressed. When you increase the suction power, one of the indicator lamps (5) on the control panel will light up, and when you lower it one of the lamps (5) will extinguish. To turn the appliance off just press the suction button (A4). NOTE: when you switch on the suction, the appliance will restart from the speed it was at the time of switching off. Another fastening button is present on the steam+vacuuming extension tubes (D). Proceed as indicated above for the other accessories and release the tubes by sliding the button until it is in the locked position. To connect the accessories for suction only (FM-Q-R-T-Z) just connect them without hooking with connector button (C). CAUTION: in this case it is important to disconnect the steam function by using the safety device (A3) in order to prevent the steam leaking.
SUCTION OF SOLIDS AND LIQUIDS
This appliance can be used to suck up dust or liquids equally easily. However, if the water in the filter is very dirty it should be replaced proceeding as described in the section "Emptying and cleaning the water container". ATTENTION: When the sucked up dirt reaches the maximum level in the water container (20), suction is automatically blocked by the safety float (you will notice an increase in the motor revolutions). After 10 seconds the appliance will go automatically to pause and the four indicator lights will flash. Switch off the appliance, and only switch on again after restoring the water level in the tank as described in the "emptying and cleaning the water container" paragraph. IMMEDIATE RESTART WITHOUT RESTORING THE WATER LEVEL CAN DAMAGE THE AIR OUTLET FILTER. Before resuming your cleaning operations, proceed as illustrated in the section "Emptying and cleaning the water container", and then top up the level of the water in the container.
