 [. . . ]  [. . . ] Adding the Model ADP-XP54 to the 34mm cards improves the ability of the card to withstand normal stress and not dislodge from the slot. The adapter is now provided with every Quatech 34mm Expresscard. The Model ADP-XP54 can also be ordered as a field upgrade on all existing installed 34mm Quatech Expresscard product family. 

Install the adapter on the 34mm Quatech Expresscard by attaching the spring loaded arm around the top of the card by the external connector and snapping into place. 

The adapter can now be inserted into the 54mm slot more securely and should not dislodge due to accidental or normal stress applied to the Expresscard interface adapter. 

Please note that the 34mm Expresscard can be used in the 54mm slot without the Model ADP-XP54 adapter. Some laptops are configured with only a 34mm slot which do not require the Model ADP-XP54 adapter.  [. . . ]  [. . . ]
