Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Never operate this shaver if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or the charging stand has been dropped into water. Return the shaver to a service center for examination and repair. Never drop or insert any object into any opening. [. . . ] Do not use shaving cream of the non-lathering type, nourishing cream or skin lotion. Clean shaver after every use (see "Cleaning Your Shaver"). Shaver cannot be overcharged so you may leave it on the charging stand between shaves or you may remove it for a week or more before recharging. S To avoid damaging the foils, do not push on the foils when inserting the shaver into the charging stand. S In order to preserve the life of the batteries, they should be fully discharged every six months and then fully charged for 24 hours. S The WDF-1500 charging stand is only to be used in North America. , 60Hz Battery Installation and Removal Procedure (WDF-1000/WDF-1100 only) s Unlock the battery cover by turning the end cap of the shaver one quarter turn counterclockwise, then pull the battery cover away from the main body of the shaver. S Align the battery cover with the inner frame and push the battery cover back into position. S Once in position, turn the end cap one quarter turn clockwise to lock the battery cover back in place. S After shaving, press the on/off button again to turn the shaver off. S Press the two side release buttons to remove the head assembly. S To clean foils, grasp foil/ head assembly by the ends between two fingers and tap lightly on a hard surface to remove any loose hairs. Or, you may rinse the foils under cold or warm running water. To avoid damage to the foils, DO NOT use the brush to clean foils, nor attempt to replace or remove the head assembly while the shaver is running. S Use the cleaning brush to help remove any loose hairs from the cutters and trimmers. You may also rinse the shaver under cold or warm running water, or in a basin. After cleaning, replace the foils and head assembly. If rinsed with water, hold shaver facing downward into sink, and turn on for a few seconds to dispel additional water - a gentle shake will help. Wipe the surface of the main unit with a dry towel. To clean the external surfaces of the shaver, use a damp cloth. DO NOT use strong detergents or other chemicals. DO NOT use hairdryer or heater to dry shaver. [. . . ] Remington will correct any such defect without charge if you return the complete product either in person or by mail, postage paid, to a Remington company-owned Service Center or Authorized Service Dealer within two years after the date of purchase with original receipt. Do not return this product to the retailer from whom the product was purchased. This warranty does not cover damage by accident, misuse, abuse, or by affixing an unauthorized accessory or alteration to the product, or by connection of the product to any but the specific current and voltage indicated in an accompanying instruction booklet, or by any other conditions beyond our control.
