This device should be tested after each time your vehicle has been in storage, before each use, and at least once each week during your vehicle's use. NOTE: Upon delivery of your vehicle from the factory, the detector is inoperative because the battery is reversed to prevent drainage. Before operation, reverse the battery to the proper position and test the operation of the detector. Be sure the detector is operating while using your vehicle. Do not block air circulation in the area where the smoke detector is located. See Manufacturer's Owner's Manual for operating instructions. NOTE: Cleaning products, sealants, and some adhesives may contaminate safety detectors. Detectors should be covered when using cleaning chemicals or working on the vehicles interior. PROPANE & SAFETY SYSTEM F-4 WATER SYSTEMS WATER HEATER BYPASS SYSTEM: Your Roadtrek is equipped with a water heater by-pass valve. When it is in summer mode, all three valves will face the aisle, (see Picture G-P1). In winter mode, the water line valve is open and the valves at the water heater are closed, (see Picture G-P2). FRESH WATER TANK DRAIN: To drain the fresh water tank you must open exterior drain valve at the low point drain located behind the passenger side front tire, (see Picture G-P3).
