This lights when MANUAL (p. 14) is selected.
WRITE button
Press this to store settings to MEMORY 14.
MEMORY Number indicators 14
This lights when MEMORY 14 (p. During the write operation, the indicator flashes during write standby, flashing rapidly while data is being written. "Storing Settings (Write Operation)" (p. 16)
SELECT button
Provides for selection among MANUAL and MEMORY 14.
You can change the way the numbers are indicated.

These perform two functions, selecting among MANUAL and MEMORY 14, and anti-feedback.

TUNER TUNER meter
This shows the difference between the note indicated in the tuner display and the pitch of the sound being input while the tuner is operating.
PITCH button
This sets the tuner's reference pitch.
TUNER display
This indicates the note names when the tuner is operating.

BYPASS/MUTE button
This sets whether the AD-8 switches to Bypass or Mute mode when the effects are switched off with the ON/OFF pedal.

ON/OFF pedal ON/OFF indicator
The effects are alternately switched on and off each time this pedal is pressed. The ON/OFF indicator lights when the effects are on. ON: Sounds set using the AD-8 are output. OFF: Sounds are output exactly as input (Bypass) or muted (Mute).
ANTI-FEEDBACK indicator

"ON/OFF Pedal Operation" (p. [. . . ] Guitar amps have special characteristics suited especially for electric guitars; when an acoustic guitar is used, the low and high frequencies tend to be boosted. When playing through a guitar amp, connect to the ELECTRIC GUITAR AMP OUTPUT jack (p. 13).
