Carefully follow the installation instructions for batteries, and make sure you observe the correct polarity. You must use only the specified type of battery (LR44). In households with small children, an adult should provide supervision until the child is capable of following all the rules essential for the safe operation of the unit. Remove the batteries whenever the unit is to remain unused for an extended period of time. â· Even if the battery has not been used, it may have become naturally discharged. [. . . ] * If the device to which the microphone is connected has a plug-in power switch, turn the switch on. The LR44 battery is unnecessary if you're using plug-in power, but the microphone will operate without problems even if an LR44 battery is installed in the battery compartment. [. . . ]
