1. Use a MIDI cable to connect the MIDI OUT connector of a MIDI sequencer able to transmit SMF data to the MIDI IN connector of the VM-C7100/C7200. It is convenient to use a MIDI sequencer that can playback SMF data consecutively, such as the SB-55. While holding down the [PROJECT (SYSTEM)] and [F6] buttons, turn on the power of the VM-C7100/C7200. When "****" appears in the LCD screen, release the buttons.

3. When the LCD screen indicates "Waiting MIDI Exclusive Data, " play back the SMF data consecutively. When all SMF data has been played back and the LCD screen displays "Waiting MIDI Exclusive Data, " turn off the power of VM-C7100/ C7200.
