A heavy duty multi-tap power outlet strip may be used, but only if it is rated to handle the current demand of the RMB-1085. Your RMB-1085 will automatically configure itself for the proper AC line voltage rating, from 110 volts to 240 volts, at 50/60Hz. No setting is required to match the unit to your local voltage. Plug the supplied cord into the AC INPUT receptacle 8 on the back panel of the unit. After all connections have been made, plug the other end into an appropriate AC wall outlet. NOTE: If you are going to be away from home for an extended period of time, it is a sensible precaution to unplug your amplifier. The RMB-1085 can be turned on and off manually, or automatically by using its "12V Trigger" system. With the switch in the OFF position, the amplifier is turned on or off manually using the front panel power switch.
