SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
Rotor Air Tools are made from selected materials with great care and precision. With proper attention and lubrication, they will operate satisfactorily over a long period. [. . . ] A pet cock can be added into this length to blow out moisture and dirt. Otherwise, the cap should be removed periodically to allow the moisture and dirt to be blown out. LUBRICATION Unscrew 1/8 Brass Pipe Nipple from air supply and squirt a few drops of oil into hose several times daily, using a good quality #10 compressor oil. DISASSEMBLY Unscrew AR-273 End Nut and remove AR-274 Stylus. With tool in a vertical position, inlet stem up, clamp lightly in a soft-jaw vise and unscrew AR-271A Inlet Stem. Remove tool from vise and holding open end in palm of hand turn tool upside down to catch ball, if at this point AR-270 Valve Cup, AR-104 Valve and AR-101 Piston have not slipped out, tap open end on a block of wood and these parts wl do ot il rp u. If it is necessary to remove AR-141 Sleeve, remove AR-136 Clip and, using a 1/4 diameter rod, press sleeve out toward tebc o teto. h ak f h ol To disassemble throttle bushing from inlet stem, disconnect hose at the inlet stem, remove 9265-0008 Retainer Ring and si oftrtl bsig lp f hote uhn. ASSEMBLY Press sleeve into housing, slip in piston, valve cup and valve into sleeve, and make sure valve is seated in valve cap. Insert ball and screw in inlet stem unit into housing. Snap AR-136 clip in place, insert stylus and screw on end nut. THROTTLE BUSHING No adjustment of throttle should be necessary, as this is set at the factory. [. . . ] Adjust throttle to the correct speed and striking force required for the type of material being marked.
