Check that the voltage marked on the product corresponds with your supply voltage. This product is fitted with a 13A plug complying with BS1363. NUMBER PADS (0-9) Touch to set times or weights. DISPLAY WEIGHT DEFROST Use to defrost frozen meat, poultry and seafood by weight. The defrosting time and power level are automatically set once the food category and the weight are programmed. To check power level during time cooking, touch POWER pad. EXPRESS Use this feature to program the oven for 4 popular microwave timings at HIGH power. JET DEFROST Touch to set defrosting time: the oven automatically divides the defrosting time into periods of alternating defrost and stand times by cycling on and off. PRE-SET Use to set the oven to start at a later time. MEMORY Used when programming the oven for multistage cooking. START Touch to start the cooking or defrosting programs. The cooking indicator light and the oven light will turn on and the cooling fan will operate. CANCEL Touch to clear the selected power level, cook or defrost times that previously programmed. The time of day clock will not be cancelled. 7 Operating instructions Connect the main plug into a suitable 13amp mains socket, make sure the voltage is the same as on the rating label (do not use extension cables or mains adaptors). The microwave oven will bleep once and the display will show the clock symbol and `1:01' During any cooking program, To stop cooking press CANCEL pad. Cooking or defrosting can be interrupted at any time to stir or check the food progress by opening the door. Press START pad to continue program after closing the door. Do not remove the waveguide cover on the inside wall of the cavity. 11 Problem solving The microwave oven may cause interference to your radio, TV or similar equipment. If it does, you can get rid of the interference by moving the radio, TV or equipment as far away from your microwave oven as possible.
