The appliance has been dropped or the enclosure is damaged. 2 R235LS AMPLIFIER INTRODUCTION The Russound R235LS is a 2-channel power amplifier with automatic local source switching capability. The R235LS allows a local source (e. g. , PC or TV in the bedroom) to automatically override the speakers in that particular zone of a distributed audio system. This can be accomplished with a variety of input/trigger options for versatility in many different applications. The R235LS is rated at 35 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 50 watts per channel into 4 ohms. With the Stereo/Bridge Mono switch in the Bridge Mono position, both amplifier channels are combined for a higher powered mono output. In bridged mode the R235LS is rated at 100 watts of power into a single 8-ohm load. Each amplifier output channel incorporates robust protection circuitry for safety and reliability under extreme circumstances. FRONT PANEL 1 2 On Off R USSOUND R235LS POWER AMPLIFIER 1 Power LED: The LED will illuminate red when the power is on and the amplifier is in Default/standby mode and illuminate green when the amplifier is active. 2 Power Switch: Turns the amplifier on/off. Only the Left input is used for bridged mode operation. Gain Controls: Left and Right gain controls independently adjust the sound level for each channel. When in bridged mode only the Left control is used. Delay Time: The delay can be adjusted from about 5 seconds to 5 minutes. When an audio signal is not present, this delay setting will automatically switch the amp to the Default input mode after the preset period of time. 12VDC Trigger In/Out: The 12V Trigger In controls the amplifier switching from the default input (distributed audio system) to a local source.
