OVERVIEW
Speaker new-construction brackets are used in the rough-in phase of speaker installation.  [. . . ] Each kit consists of two speaker brackets and four snap-on "wings" for affixing to each side of the stud opening.

INSTALLATION
1. Prepare the speaker bracket kit by snapping the wings to each side of the speaker bracket as shown in Fig 1. The wire loop on each wing should face the back.

Fig. Locate the stud opening that best suits the speaker application. A minimum depth of 3. 5" must be available for the back of the speaker (see Fig. The speaker location should be free from obstacles (electrical wiring,  plumbing,  duct work) for running wires.
