Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, or loose articles such as scarves, strings, chains, ties, etc. They could get drawn into the air intake. Also make sure long hair does not get drawn into the air intake. As a vacuum, the appliance is designed to pick up dry material such as leaves, grass, small twigs and bits of paper. Do not attempt to vacuum wet debris as this may result in damage to the appliance and possible electric shock. Always ensure the nozzle is securely fixed by tightening the knob when using the unit. Move the roller forwards or backwards so that it is in an easy-to-use position and fix it in place with the wing bolt. (c) : Do not use in the rain or leave outdoors while it is raining. (d) : SWITCH OFF : Remove plug from mains before cleaning or maintenance. (e) : Do not clean inside the tube while plugging in. Handle (12) so that the side with the narrow groove (13) faces the front, open it with both hands and set it onto the main body of the unit. Handle to the main body of the unit by lightly tightening the knob (3) and the hex.
