If you don't follow the safety precautions, you may get the risk of an electric shock, injury or death. The manufacturer or qualified service personnel must install this air conditioner. Turn off the electric power before repairing, installing or cleaning. WARNING DURING OPERATION N Do not repair the air conditioner at your discretion. Note The fan speed indicator increases and decreases continuously and turns round each time you press the button. 5 To control the airflow direction, refer to page 19. E-15 Selecting the Auto Cleaning Function You can select the Auto Cleaning Function if you want to sterilize the air conditioner or remove mold. Even when the air conditioner is turned off, you can set this function. 1 If necessary, press the Result: (On/Off) button. N The operation indicator on the indoor unit lights up. N The air conditioner starts up in the mode you selected last. N The indicator on the indoor unit lights up and the Auto Cleaning function is set. N When you turn the air conditioner off, it operates the Auto Cleaning function for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the air conditioner turns off.
