E-9 Adjusting the Air Flow Direction Horizontally Remote Control Control Panel 1 Depending on the position of the unit in your room, you can adjust the orientation of the inner air flow blades on the right-hand side of the unit, thus increasing the efficiency of the air conditioner. Press the Swing button on the remote control or unit. Result: The inner blades swing automatically left and right. In the Energy Saving mode, the blades may stop when the compressor is off. For details on the Energy Saving mode, refer to page 12. 2 To stop the blades moving left and right, press the Swing button again. To stop the blades in a specific position and orient the air flow in the corresponding direction, simply press the Swing button when the blades are in the desired position. Adjusting the Air Flow Direction Vertically The outer air flow blades can be adjusted to control the vertical air flow direction. Upwards. Adjust the air flow blades to the desired position, by pushing them upwards or downwards. If you orient the air flow blades downwards and the unit operates in the Cool mode for long periods of time, dew may: x Form on the surface of the blades x Drip from the blades E-10 Switching the Unit Off Automatically (Off Timer) You can set the timer to switch the air conditioner off automatically at a given time. 1 If necessary, press the (On/Off) button.
