This manual will guide you through using the camera, including capturing images, downloading images and using the application software. Please read this manual carefully before using your new camera. Instructions Use this camera in the following order Before connecting the camera to a PC, via the USB cable, you will need to set up the camera driver. Install the camera driver that is contained in the Application S/W CD-ROM. (p. 75) Set up the camera driver Take a picture (p. 22) Take a picture Insert the USB cable Insert the supplied USB cable into the PC's USB port and the camera's USB connection terminal. (p. 81) Check the camera's power Check the camera's power If the power is turned off, press the camera button to power it on. (p. 24) Check [Removable Disk] Open Window s EXPLORER and search for [Removable Disk]. (p. 82) If you use a card reader to copy the images on the memory card to your PC, the images could be damaged. [. . . ] Press the shutter button and the menu will disappear. Starting the slide show Images can be displayed continuously at pre-set intervals. You can view the slide show by connecting the camera to an external monitor. Press and hold the Play mode button for 2 seconds, and press the Menu button. Press the LEFT/ RIGHT button and select the [SLIDE] SLIDE menu tab. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the desired OFF submenu value, and then press the RIGHT button. EXIT:MENU MOVE: - Slide Show Display Interval: OFF, 1 ~10 seconds 4. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set whether to repeat the slide show. [ON] : Even once a cycle(from the first image to the last image) is completed, the slide show will continue to SLIDE repeat itself. MOVE: CHANGE: - To pause the slide show, press the shutter button. - To start the slide show again, press the shutter button again. - Press the menu button again and the slide show will stop. 50 Starting the slide show INFORMATION The loading time depends on the image size and quality. The slide show will start from an image that was displayed on the LCD monitor. The [PWR OFF] function can't be activated. While the slide show is playing, only the first frame of an avi file is displayed. In case of a voice file, the voice recording icon will appear. Resize You can change the resolution (size) of saved pictures. The pictures are saved under different names. Press and hold the Play mode button for 2 seconds, and press the Menu button. Press the LEFT/ RIGHT button and select the [RESIZE] menu tab. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN button and press the OK button. RESIZE 2048X1536 1600X1200 1024X768 640X480 INFORMATION A Large image can be resized to be made smaller, but a small image cannot be resized to become larger. Avi and wav files can't be resized. [. . . ] Check whether the JPEG Decoder provided with the camera is installed. If you didn't install the camera driver, please install the JPEGCODE included in the application S/W CD-ROM.
