ï¯ ï¯ ï¯ ï¯ ï¯ ï¯ The dryer is plugged into an electrical outlet and grounded properly. The exhaust ductwork is hooked up and the joints are taped. You have used rigid or stiff-walled flexible metal duct material, not plastic flexible duct. The dryer is level and is sitting firmly on the floor. For gas models: The gas is turned on and there are no gas leaks. Start your dryer to confirm that it runs, heats, and shuts off. Make sure your dryer is installed properly so it exhausts air easily. Clean all old ducts before installing your new dryer. Donât let a poor exhaust system slow drying by:
1. Restricting your dryer with a poor exhaust system. Unnecessarily using long ducts that have many elbows. Reinsert the screw (Step 4) on the Frame Front
5. Remove the two screws on the opposite side of the door hinge. Place the door on the other side and reattach it to the dryer. Remove two screws from the holder lever. Reattach the screws in the remaing holes. 22_ installing your dryer

CONNECTING THE INLET HOSE
Method1 - Using the Y Connector and Long Hose
The dryer must be connected to the cold water faucet using the new inlet hoses. If you have a washer water hose attached to the cold water faucet, Y-Connector unscrew and remove the hose. If space permits, attach the brass female end of the âYâconnector to the cold water faucet. Attach the straight end of the long hose to the âYâ connector. Screw on the hose coupling by hand until it is tight.
