Examples: x You wish to copy a video cassette with the help of a second VCR (see page 40). x You wish to play back and/or copy pictures taken with a camcorder (see page 40). 0:00:00 If the remaining time is to be calculated correctly, you must indicate the type of cassette being used. 1 2 3 x Make sure that both the television and the VCR are switched off before connecting the cables. Connect one end of the RCA audio/video cable into the VIDEO socket on the Rear of the VCR. Plug the other end of the audio/video cable into the appropriate output connector on the other system (VCR or camcorder). Plug the other end of the audio cable into the appropriate output connectors on the other system (VCR, camcorder or Hi-Fi sound system). 38 39 01479A DVD-V5000/XSA-GB4 9/5/56 8:07 AM Page 40 Using the Assemble Edit Function GB Audio Dubbing a Pre-recorded Cassette GB This function allows you to start a new recording at a specific position on the cassette while maintaining a very smooth scene change. With the Audio Dubbing function, you erase the previously recorded sound and replace it with a new soundtrack from: x A CD, DVD x A microphone connected to a sound system x A cassette player Restriction: Audio dubbing is applicable only to the longitudinal audio track (normal audio). ) 1 2 5 Insert the cassette to be edited in your DVD-VCR. Search for the Audio Dubbing (ending) point using the , and set the counter to 0:00:00 by pressing CLK/CTR and CLEAR.
