Thank you for buying a Samsung Camera. This manual will guide you through using the camera, including capturing images, downloading images and using the application software. Please read this manual carefully before using your new camera. Figures (Images) used for the manual are based on model Digimax U-CA 501.
Instructions
Use this camera in the following order Before connecting the camera to a PC, via the USB cable, you will need to set up the camera driver. [. . . ] Use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the number of copies and then press the OK button. - The DPOF icon ( ) will appear by the pictures for which the number of copies to print is set.
DPOF : INDEX
Images (except for movie clips and voice file) are printed as index type. Press the play mode button and press the menu button. Press the LEFT/ RIGHT button and select the [DPOF] 2048 menu tab. Select the [INDEX] menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN STANDARD NO INDEX YES button and press the RIGHT button. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN SET:OK BACK: button. If [NO] is selected : The image will not be printed in index format. If [YES] is selected : The image will be printed in index format. Press the OK button to confirm the setting. Press the menu button twice and the menu will disappear.

DPOF : PRINT SIZE
You can specify the print size when printing images stored on the memory card. The [SIZE] menu is available only for DPOF 1. 1 compatible printers. Press the play mode button and press the menu button. Press the LEFT/ RIGHT button and select the [DPOF] 2048 menu tab. Select the [SIZE] menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN STANDARD DEFAULT INDEX 3X5 button and press the RIGHT button. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN SET:OK BACK: button and press the OK button. * PRINT SIZE : DEFAULT, 3X5, 4X6, 5X7, 8X10 * The [DEFAULT] print size varies depending on the printer manufacturer. For your printer's default value, please refer to the user's guide that came with your printer.
DPOF : CANCEL
You can cancel the [STANDARD], [INDEX], or [SIZE] settings. Cancel the setting to reset the value to its default. Press the play mode button and press the menu button. Press the LEFT/ RIGHT button and select the [DPOF] 2048 DPOF menu tab. Select the [CANCEL] menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN SIZE INDEX button and press the RIGHT button. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN SET:OK BACK: button. [. . . ] If not, the movie clip may not play back on the PC.
