Applicable models: LCD TV and PDP TV are released on 2008 For Europe HD DTV model (LE**A7/A8/A9 series, PS**A7 series MX(XC/XH/XU/ZG/XQ/RU/UA/CS) For France HD DTV model (LE**A4/A5/A6***MXZF, PS**A4/A5/A6***MXZF) For Nordic HD DTV model (LE**A4/A5/A6/A7/A8/A9***WXXE, PS**A4/A5/A6/A7***WXXE)
The appearance of the TV and the remote control may differ depending on your TV model.
1 Downloading the software.
Connect to www. samsung. com and press the button at the top right to move to the website for the corresponding country.
Download new S/W on-line (www. samsung. com/support/download)
The name of the USB folder name may differ depending on the model. [. . . ] Safely disconnect the USB memory drive by right clicking the green check mark on the taskbar and then left click `Safely Remove'. The USB device should have only one folder.
2 Connecting the USB device to the TV.
Insert USB to "WISELINK" on Side TV.

if not, disconnect and re-connect USB to "WISELINK" port.
If USB is inserted perfectly, the below OSD is showed up. Use and Enter button on remote control, Select "No".

3 Running the software upgrade file.
Press the MENU button. Press the , , and ENTER buttons to select "Setup" "Software Upgrade" "By USB".
The software upgrade start screen appears,

Another Method Press the SOURCE button on the TV and the POWER button on the remote control at the same time. The software upgrade screen appears.
Press the buttons in the Standby state.
Wait about 30 seconds and check S/W version on OSD. Press the ENTER button to select "OK".
If the TV fails to recognize the upgraded file, check the files in the software folder and copy the files to the folder of the USB memory again.
Warning!!Please be careful to not disconnect the power or remove the USB drive while upgrades are being applied.
